Please come back soon as I will be uploading films from my BA film production course
The Richard Burns Foundation (official Video)
A short seven minute film, featuring the highlights of Richard Burns' competition career as well as the intimate details of his courageous fight against an aggressive form of brain cancer in the twilight of his life.
The film is intended to give context to the Paint It Orange campaign as motorsport remembers ten years since Richard's 2001 World title and today's ongoing work of the Richard Burns Foundation as it endeavours to improve the circumstances of others facing neurological injury and illness.
Directed by Nick Rowland and produced by students of AUCB Film School during our second year.

year 2 of my film degree- just for fun!
Beautiful video..... RiP Richard
The RBF is no more. I understand with Zoe you can't be a professional ex fiancé, only the mothers of darkly tanned scrotes can become a baroness. I met Zoe a couple of times, but my love and tenderness is directed to Kate, who ran the charity. The fun of listening to a lady who is close to speaking in received pronunciation F-ing and blinding about the shitheads who were in charge of that years' Goodwood charity was hilarious. I hope that you have just blanked me, and it's not about a result of the problems you were having. All my love and tenderness, the potato butter and parsley man! I've watched that woman, even desperately ill with cold or flu, work through 18-hour days. I love you, Kate. No, not in a silly sort of way, I just think you are brilliant!
Omg i did not realise this was a thing, its heart breaking :*(
Najlepszy kierowca zmarl na białaczkę ale był mistrzem świata
2024. i will never forger him
In the morning, you intend to set off for an event that could see you crowned world champion for a second time. By the afternoon, a doctor tells you that you have a brain tumour and your life is in extreme jeopardy. Hard to process that from afar, let alone actually going through it.
Tho a sad year in 2005. As 4 years since his WRC title winning drive (which is a 3rd place podium that won the Champions for him 2001 ) which burns passed away. The same year was also for Michael Park's unfortunate demise in the same rally which burns won the Title 4 years ago is painful for British fans as well. Really sorry for the British fans for the unfortunate moment in the year 2005 which is the year to forget for British Rally fans. RIP Michael Park, Richard Burns and Colin McRae ( who also passed away 2 years later in 2007 )
Was watching Hammond enjoying his freshly rebuilt Subaru and with the help of nostalgia ended up here. Had one of these cars the year Richard Won the title so he definitely influenced us fans. People who achieve that level of greatness in their lives will never be forgotten❤️❤️ I didn’t want to watch this video because it’s proper lump in the throat sadness, but I’m glad I did because we so often take life for granted. It is very cool to have all these moments online for eternity, for everyone to cherish. I hope his Wife family and friends found some happiness as time moved forward❤️❤️ What great times these years were, they are our hero’s, living the dream, and we enjoyed watching every second of it with them.
You’re the best in the world! R.i.p. Richard Burns. You are still so missed. 😢
Very legendary 😢😢😢😢😢
RIP RICHARD
Richard forever👍🏻
21 years after his win Gone but not forgotten Still time to time see some seasons to remember the great era of rally in 90's Got a bit of his legacy in my place, the game in his memory, and his Subaru Impreza 2001 in 1/18 He was One of a kind
RBR fans will end up here remembering this man. I know it seems trivial but he lives on in that amazing game kept thriving by a dedicated community who love Rallying and love Richard. His spirit is there with us each time we tear up that dirt (and his voice literally guiding us through the tutorial stages).
I agree with you, I play it almost everyday and it's sweet to see him still in the game, may he rest in peace
I stopped watching rally driving after we lost Richard and Colin. I just didn’t feel the same way about a sport I loved. Far too painful. Rest peacefully beautiful man. With love 💔
Something so special about seeing both Burns and McRae throw those beautiful Blue machines around. Forever to be missed. RIP.

I wonder what has happened to the foundation as it seems sadly closed. RIP Richard. A True legend and will always be remembered.
2021. Still missed. What a legend.
We remember R.I.P. :((
'"Hero never die. But they do all the time. We are reborn again ... and ... again !8! R.I.P. Sir, Richard
So sad RIP
I met him back in 2000. Just briefly. I can't believe this is 20 years since his world title. Gone too young. How cruel life can be to rob someone so talented. Anyone else here in 2021? Celebrating his life and legacy?
Richard is a rally legend and will never be forgotten.
I never really knew him or met him, but he left an impression on me with his skilful driving and general attitude and I've never forgotten him. Just like one or two others from that era of Rallying, he is permanently engraved in my memory. I can only imagine how awful it must be to outlive your child.
I can't even begin to imagine the pain he had to endure. I will never forget him. Truly a great person and one of the greatest rally drivers I know
Youre a fukin idiot if you dislike this video
I wonder how the foundation is doing..
I had around 14 years old but ill never forget him, was one of my favorite drivers and one of the best in Rally Acropolis.
It’s 20 years since his championship now... RIP champ
❤️🙏❤️
25-11-20. 15 years. We remember.
15 years, we miss you Richard..
I can genuinely see the pain in both Reid's and Richard's father's eyes. This is a truly heartwrenching tale, but also the tale of one of the greatest rally drivers!
Why is there no link for the T-Shirt ?
Only ever 2 British world rally champions, Both died so young, Tragic. BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN !! R.I.P. hero's
It was so terribly sad what happened to Richard unfortunately I only started watching WRC in 2004 so didn't get to watch Richard driving apart from old seasons in RUclips. You have to wonder how long his brain tumor affected his prior performances as well as his rallies before Spain weren't great and of course a tumour dosent grow overnight. RIP Richard who was a fantastic driver and a great overall package for any team and was good on any surface.
Richard Burns would won more Championship than Sebastien Loeb if he still alive and drive Subaru for 2004 season onwards
Subarus aren't rally wondermachines, the 2004+ ones were actually awful also the fact that Peugeot as newbies won 3 manufacturers titles back to back over them kinda kills off that myth and god awfull stereotype
I really didn't know what happened to Richard but it is sad ,why does the good people leave us in the first place
God rest his soul. One of the kindest faces in the WRC. He will never be forgotten.
This was really tough to watch :( It's gonna be 15 years now in November since he died. You are a Legend Richard!! Much love from me <3 R.I.P
He was an inspiration a world champion and a people's champion he died in his prime and a big light went out in the world rip Richard burns
She is a stunner now.
and I was born in 2005, what a coincidence :0
I'm old enough to remember where I was and how I heard about JFK being assassinated. I remember clearly where I was and how I heard about Elvis dying. And I can recall vividly where I was and how I heard the tragic news of the great Richard Burns passing. RIP young man, I admired you greatly.
Il mio preferito di sempre
Almost 15yrs since Richard Burns passed, as a fan it still stings our heroes will never be forgotten. There's only two or three people apart from immediate family I still get a little blue thinking about Richard Burns, Greg Moore and Brandon Lee. Keep up the great work and his legacy will live on.
Richards Burs, lyons heart!
Been watching back the era of Makinen, McRae, Burns, Sainz and co. Amazing times in rallying especially the GB final round in 2001. As a McRae fan I was gutted he crashed out and wasn't exactly ecstatic when Burns won. Now I am so glad that Burn did win his Championship. We have lost both McRae and Burn which is just unbelievable. For Burn to pass away exactly 4 years to the day after winning the 2001 Championship was heartbreaking. R.I.P Richard. A true Champion in and out of the car.
WOT A MAN.😥😥👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
